Fun at the Pool

We usually go to the pool every afternoon, and lately we have been joined by many of our good friends. Bailee is now swimming some without her floaties, and diving to four feet. She will jump in the shallow end without her floaties and come up just fine. Annika prefers to play on the steps with the toys, but will sometimes journey to the bottom step holding on to the rail. They are both great pool girls.

Yesterday on the way in from the pool Annika decided she wanted to be a puppy and Bailee joined her. You never know with these two silly girls!

Today while our friend Maria and her new born were visiting, Bailee was touching him and I told her to make sure she was very careful and gentle with him. She looked at me and said "Is he expensive Mommy"?

Bailee's got a Brand New Do

We have been growing Bailee's hair for so long. Now that Aunt Dana's wedding is over we decided to cut it. Bailee wanted to go short like a friend of mine that she saw today and what better time than summer for a bob. She can't stop saying how much she likes it, and I think it is super cute.

Bailee has become such a good little helper. She loves to serve others most of the time. I have been giving her more opportunities to help around the house like clearing the table after dinner, setting the table for dinner, cleaning up the bath tub toys after her bath. She is always expected to clean her room, and yesterday after she was finished I told her I was coming in to Vacuum it. I realized it might be a good time for her to learn a new skill. She was so excited and proud of the job she had done, that she offered to do the living room. Oue girls are so awesome, and such a blessing! Thank you Lord.

Potty Training

These days Annika is usually wearing only panties and not allowed to sit on the furniture. She is doing so well and will stay dry all night and during her nap. She has decided when she is finish training she wants a new doll. Not just any doll, but the one pictured on her pull up (we call sleep pants) she wears to bed. It is a dark skinned ballerina with a fairy wand. I said OK, and Ricky wants to know where he is going to find that. Bailee is such a helper, partly because she will get a treat too. UPS Bowling Night

This was so much fun, the girls were able to bowl with Ricky and they really had a great time. For the longest time they were more excited about the ball returning that they would bowl and quickly run back to wait on the ball without watching if it even made it to the end of the lane. Definitely something we will do again sometime.

Bye Bye Jump House

Joanna's father rented a jump house for the kids at the party. Bailee and Annika loved it! Near the end of the party the men came to take it down while everyone was inside watching Joanna open her gifts. This is what happened when Bailee saw them and realized what was happening. So funny!!!
