Teacher Bailee

Today while picking up the girls from kids club at the gym, Bailee had organized at least seven of the children in a straight line. Once in the car she told me that they were playing school and she was the teacher. She had them singing Jesus love me, and even chose a child as the special child for the day. While I smile at her leadership skills, I was blessed to see her teaching the other children that Jesus loves them. Thank you Lord for this sweet moment.

Super Sweet Moment

Tonight while Ricky was helping Annika put her nightgown on She said "This is my dress." She then asked Ricky where his dress was. Ricky told her that only girlswear dresses, and she said "Daddy is a boy." Ricky then replied no Daddy is a man! Annika looked at him and said so sweetly "Daddy you are Superman." I hope our girls always see their Daddy as their Superman.

The Masters Kids

Bailee justs loves her new preschool. Just so you know what we do, when we first arrive Bailee signs her name and recites her memory verse. Then we go and build her snack, this week it was a airplane and Bailee was concerned she was going to have to eat glue (marshmallow cream). Then there is free play for about ten minutes, and then on to group time. All of this we do together until after group time. At group time they say the pledge, sing a few songs, and find the special child of the day. Then I go to Moms time while Bailee has lesson time, playground time, song time, and then eats her snack we made earlier(about 1 1/2 hours). Then she and I do her three crafts together. She said her favorite thing today was the fish painting, she actually painted a fish and made a print of it. She was really concerned about it being dead, and then said "Why are we painting a dead fish"? I told her that was a good questions, I guess just for fun. The last thing is clean up and circle time, where we sing the goodbye song and go home. I am really enjoying our Tuesdays together and hope this helps you share in the fun! We Love You.

California Bailee

Bailee's First Day of Masters Kids

Bailee started her first day of preschool this week. She was so excited, and loved every minute of it. It is a one day a week, mommy and me preschool meaning that I do everything with her except for playground time. Each mom in the class of 32 kids has a job, one might lead music, or craft time, or snack time, etc. I am the welcome coordinator which means I set up the table that the children come to sign in, check off homework, learn their weekly Bible verse. Bailee has already completed her homework packet and learned one of her songs and it has only been two days. This is going to be a wonderful time for her, and I am so glad to get the individual time with her that Masters Kids encourages. Hope you enjoy the pictures of her special day.

Bailee Swimming

Annika at the Aquatic Center

While waiting for Bailee and Daddy to finish diving Annika decided she was going to gather some rocks to play with. I caught her getting ready to toss them into the pool. Although Annika is not swimming yet she does enjoy the water and she is learning to hold her breath and go under. Here are a few pictures of Annika having fun with whatever she can find.

Bailee jumps off the High Dive

Bailee has learned to swim this summer and there is no turning back. She recently took the swim test at the aquatic center and swam the length of the dive pool. She was so proud of her green bracelet she was given when she passed. Bailee being the adventurous girl that she is decided to jump off the high dive three times. Here are a few pictures and a video of our fun times at the aquatic center.

Braves vs. Dodgers

A few weeks ago Ricky surprised us with tickets to a Braves game. We had such a great time and the girls did really well. The Braves won which was cool, but the highlight for me was watching Ricky and Bailee eating peanuts together. During the game this man with a raspy voice came by selling frozen lemonade and Annika started mocking him. He did not hear her of course, but when he would yell "Frozen Lemonade" she would too, it was so funny. Bailee caught the beach ball that was being tossed around during the game, but it had lost most of it's air. Ricky would not blow it back up for her so she decided to use it for a hat. We had a blast and will definitely be going back. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
