A trip to Yosemite National Park

The day after Thanksgiving we took a trip to Yosemite National Park. It was so beautiful and lots of fun. We stayed in the The Best Western Yosemite Gateway. It became known as Bailee's temp house. Bailee was asking to go back to her house and Ricky told her it was her temporary house. Now whenever we see a Best Western sign Bailee says theres Bailee's temp house. Yosemite was a trip we will take again. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Kids day at the park

We took Bailee to the park for Kids day. Just before we walked out the door we looked down and she decided she wanted to wear her high heal shoes. Although she did not get to, she had a great time. She loved riding the train which Ricky squeezed into for her, and Bugs Bunny was her favorite. She liked him so much that we had to pry her away from him so that other children could take pictures too.

Santa Monica mts. and Malibu beach

These pictures are from a drive we took through the Santa Monica Mts. down to Malibu beach. There is a place where the Mts. open up and you can see the ocean, it is very beautiful. Unfortunately my photography does not do it justice, but it gives you some idea of how beautiful parts of Southern California really are.

Ladybug Ladybug or as Bailee would say Yadybug.

We had a great time last week at the fall festival. Bailee loved her ladybug costume, I think her favorite part were the black tights. She said mommy there socks and pants. While at the festival she played a game where you pick a floating frog out of this pool and check the bottom to see if you have won. Bailee decided it would be more fun to get in the pool, so shoes and all in she went. She keeps me laughing and running. Hope you enjoy the ladybug pictures.

Bailee's in the kitchen

Bailee's kitchen arrived today, and I thought Ricky was going to pass out when he opened the box and saw 192 pieces. He said Pa was in trouble for sending a birthday present with so many parts. He was a trooper and got it together in no time, without any left over parts. Bailee loves it and has already had two friends over to cook.

Bailee's birthday tricycle

It was so sweet watching Ricky put this together for Bailee the night before her birthday. The box said this tricycle has been made since 1935, and I told Ricky that daddies have been putting this bike together for thier children for over seventy years. I think he thought that was neat until the seat would not quit fit in the hole for it. Ha Ha

Bring on the gifts

Bailee had a wonderful birthday thanks to our great family, that sent her so many toys, that it looked like Christmas morning in our apartment.

Happy 2nd Birthday Bailee

The morning of Bailee's birthday we all had strawberry cake for breakfast. Bailee was not sure what was going on when she was seated at the table with a big cake in front of her, and we began singing. It did not take her long to get excited, and the came the gifts.

A big girl bed for Bailee

Not too long ago Bailee graduated to a toddler bed, because she was trying to climb over the side of her crib. She has since gotten used to it, but I took a few pictures of her crazy sleeping. One night I went in to check on her and she was standing up leaning over the side of her bed asleep. She often puts her babies and Daria to sleep when she is not using it.
