Thanks Mimi and Pa for the beautiful new dresses. Sunday was a great day with a sunrise service at our church that is located on top of a mountain, overlooking a lake and valley.
Annika was awfully quiet, so I went to look for her. If she is not in the bathroom drawers, or on the top bunk she is probably in the kitchen snacking on cereal.
In attempts to make Sunday a special day, different from every other day of the week I asked Bailee on Saturday if she would like to sleep in curlers. She was so excited, and I could not believe how curly her hair was the next morning. Annika always starts singing Curly Sue when Bailee is in her curlers. On Saturday Bailee will say, "yeah tomorrow is the Lords day and tonight I get to wear curlers". Several friends at church did not even recognize her, and her hair stayed curly for two days. Little girls are so much fun.
We recently purchased the girls a new bed. Bailee likes being the big sister on the top bunk. It is however a challenge keeping Annnika (who has always been a climber) off the top bunk. She will say Mommy, I bunk. After getting her off the top bunk three times last night, it occurred to me to take off the ladder. It was the best idea I have had in a long time. Bailee stays in bed and Annika cannot bunk, as she would say. Don't worry I put it back just as soon as they fall asleep. The girls just love their new bed.
