While in Florida we spent two days with Aunt Debbie and Uncle Donnie. It was a lot of fun and the girls really kept us busy. We went to the mall, park, Aunt Debbie's parents, and sisters house. The girls loved playing at Donna's daycare and all the animals they got to see including the potbelly pig. Annika kept saying "I ride it". Thanks Uncle Donnie and Aunt Debbie for such great memories.
While in Florida the girls needed to go to the doctor. We took them to see Dr. Landay, which was Ricky's childhood pediatrician. They really liked him, although this was before the throat culture.
The girls love to help in the kitchen, so when Mimi said bake cookies they were ready. In one of the pictures Annika decided to take a break and eat some dough.
Each year one of Ricky's professors and his wife have a cookout for the students in Dr. Essex's discipleship lab. We had a great time of fellowship and the girls loved playing in their back yard. They have a trampoline, tire swing, ping pong table and a really sweet dog named Lacy. Dr. Essex grilled for us and Mrs. Louise made great sides, and even gave Bailee a tour of the upstairs. Which is funny because when they came to our house for dinner a few weeks earlier, as soon as they walked in the front door Bailee took Mrs. Louise by the hand and said do you want to see my closet? Bailee, Bailee, Bailee!! Here are a few pictures from the evening.
Annika has a sweet little friend named Ella, and they look so much alike. Here are a few pictures from her birthday party. Annika is crying because I put the birthday cone (as Bailee calls it) on her. Happy Birthday Ella!
The girls love to go to the park, and could stay all day! This morning we packed a lunch and had a picnic. The squirrel in the picture kept coming up to our blanket, turns out he only wanted some granola bar.
