Go Florida Gators!

Last weekend Ricky and I went to Marina Del Ray and watched the Florida/Georgia game. There is a restaurant there that is run by Gator Alumni and the atmosphere is so much fun. Tons of Gator fans fill the place to watch the game. It is the closest thing to the swamp on the west coast. The cool thing is, is that everyone has a story to tell about how they are affiliated with or became a Florida fan. It is right on the water so during half time we went for a walk and took some pictures. Here are a few, oh yah Go Gators!!

Go Florida Gator's

Thanks MiMi and Pa for sending the cute cheerleading uniforms. They came in perfect timing to be worn as costumes to the carnival. Hope you think we wear them well.

Trick-Or-Treating at the Mall

This was alot of fun. At first the girls were not sure what to do, but they quickly caught on. Annika was not too happy with the idea of putting the candy in the bag and not in her hand. I think she had had enough of that and while in one store she grabbed another child's lollipop right off his stroller. We met another Gator fan who was from Gainesville and she had to take a picture of the girls. After the mall we went out for dinner and then on to the Carnival, hope you enjoy the pic's.

Fun at the Carnival

Fun at the Carnival

The carnival was so much fun, Bailee loved playing the games and the jump slide. Annika enjoyed grabbing candy and dancing.

Annika Shares Milk with Elmo

While waiting for her breakfast I caught Annika sharing with Elmo, how cute!

At home with Daddy

Those of you who know Bailee know how rare it is for her to fall asleep in your arms. One night last week she laid down with Ricky before bedtime and feel asleep in his arms. What a sweet Bailee and Daddy moment.

Leftover Annika

Annika is so funny, she loves to try a little of what everyone has. If there are ever leftovers where she can get them, consider them hers. She really is a good eater and believe it or not she does turn away food, but twice last week she found leftovers and well here is what happened. The first picture she found a slice of pizza left on Rickys plate and the second was Bailee's leftover popcorn from Awana. The popcorn she was really concentrating on, I think she thought it was going to be taken away if not by me by Bailee. She keeps us laughing!

Polly Pockets do Saddles

Bailee loves to play with Polly Pockets. This time she had them all in a line at gymnastics, she said they were doing their saddles. What she meant was straddles. If you notice the cat sitting on the pillow, she said he just wanted to watch.

The Pot Calling the Kettle Black

Yesterday we were on our way from the car into the house. Annika always walks now and loves to go up the stairs only holding onto your hand. You can see the pride on her face as she reaches the top step. Occasionally she will be distracted by a toy in the courtyard on the way in. On this occasion she decided she really wanted to ride the little car instead of come with us inside. She was not too happy when I told her no and removed her from the car and put her back on the right track to go up the stairs. She decided to let me know how unhappy she was and just have a seat. After some more encouragement she was ready to go inside, and we were on our way. A moment later I heard Baillee saying to her "Annika I am so disappointed in you, you were not obeying your Mommy". I just had to laugh and wonder how many times Bailee has heard that.

Fun Girls

Bailee and Teacher Sunny

Teacher Sunny is one of Bailee's most favorite people. We recently found out that she will no longer be working in Bailee's class at church. She is moving to Atlanta at the end of the month. I was so sad for Bailee when I heard the news, but know that the Lord has another little girl at another church that will be blessed by Teacher Sunny and her sweet serving spirit. Last week she gave Bailee a bicycle that her daughter had out grown and we named it Sunny; so we would always think of her each time she rides it. We Love you and will miss you Teacher Sunny.

Sweetest Thing Ever!

This evening we were playing in the living room and after a little while I noticed Annika was no longer with us. I went to her room and found her sitting on top of her toy box looking at and talking to a picture of Granny and Papa. I quickly got the camera and she was still there when I got back to her room. I said Annika give Granny a kiss and she lifted up the book and kissed Papa. What a sweet girl!!

Bailee on the Computer

Bailee likes to play Playhouse Disney on the computer. She plays Bunny Town; a game where you earn carrots for corrects answers and then take them to the carrot shop to buy clothes and toys for your bunny. Today she bought a sandbox for her bunny's house and two dressers. "She said mommy they really have cute dressers don't they".

Silly Dancing Girls!!!!

On Tuesday Olivia and Nicolette came over and spent the morning with us. Here is a little bit of how the girls spent their time.

Hawaiian Night at Cubbies

Bailee Earnes Her First Patch

In Cubbies you earn patches for memorizing your Bible verses. This week Bailee earned her first one and was so proud of it.

Trampoline in the Living Room?

Our friend Mindy gave us a small exercise trampoline for the girls to play on. It is perfect they can jump all they want without disturbing neighbors below. Bailee stayed on it for several hours tonight, and when it was bed time she got a pillow and blanket and told me she was going to sleep right there tonight. I am glad they are enjoying it so much, and am thankful for the energy they use while on it :)

OK OK So Maybe She's Ready

Lately Annika has been letting me know when she has a dirty diaper. Yesterday she came to me and said poo poo. I checked her and said you don't have a dirty diaper. Two minutes later she did!! My friend Maria keeps saying she is ready and wonders if I am going to wait for her to hide her diapers from me to start potty training her. I just cant believe she could be ready, she's only a year and a half. When I mentioned it to Ricky, I said I feel like I am losing my baby and am not in a hurry for her to not wear diapers. He looked at me like I had lost my mind, and said do you like changing those things? I'm sure the cost was running through his mind too. Anyway, today I caught her pretending the baby diaper bag was a potty, and she really looked liked she knew what she was doing. Maybe we will get out the potty and see what happens. So Maria, now I say OK OK maybe she's ready.
