Bailee's Bus Ride
Working on a particular behavior Bailee got to pick one thing she would really like to do. That was, to go on a bus ride. So, we made a chart and each time she did what she was supposed to do she earned one star. After 30 stars she would get to go on her bus ride. I think it took her about three weeks, and today we went to the bus stop. It was really loud and she did not like to wait, but when the buss came she was excited to get on and pick out a seat. She had her picture taken with the driver and of course told him she wanted to drive, he just smiled. After two hours of riding the city bus I was glad to see our car. I think Bailee had a good time and I gained a greater appreciation for the convenience of having your own vehicle. I think Bailee said a boat was next!!!

Afternoon in the Park
This afternoon we went to the park. This was Annika's first time in the big swings and I am not sure she liked them. Thank you Maria for helping us take some great pictures. The little guy with us is her son Caleb, Bailee says he is her favorite baby and Annika is my favorite baby.
Annika is on the move
Annika is not yet crawling, but she can get where she wants to go. Today she made it over to Bailees' doll baby Anna and I think she thought it was a real baby.

Curly Sue
The other night Bailee let me put her hair in curlers. It was so much fun until she got ready for bed and realized they stay in over night. Bailee does not even sleep with a hair barrette in her hair, so the curlers were coming out one way or another. We took them out and I was surprised to see it had already curled quit a bit. Here are the pictures they were too cute. Oh yah, once we got them out she wanted them back in. :-)
Bubble in the Bumbo
We bought Annika a baby Bumbo Sitter last week. She loves it and really enjoys sitting on the dining room table and looking out the windows. We called her bubble because that is what Bailee named her. She said mommy I think the name Annika Bubble is a nice name and I think she will like it. Her new name is now Annika Bubble. So I said if you think she will like it then Annika Bubble it is. MiMi said she got a new center piece the other day, but I bet it is not as cute as ours.
