Trash or Dinner
A few minutes ago Annika did something so funny that Bailee and I are still laughing. While I was not looking she grabbed part of her leftover peanut butter and honey sandwich (a honey bear as Bailee calls them) off the top of the garbage. When I realized what she had in her hand I started towards her and the chase was on. With a paper coupon (also from the trash) stuck to her foot she ran for her room with the sandwich. I made me think of a raccoon raiding the trash and once dinner is found there off. She keeps us laughing!!!

Cocoa Beach
Before Tropical Storm Fay came, Ricky and I went and spent the night at cocoa Beach for our anniversary. Here are a few fun pictures we took before Fay sent us packing.
Summer Vacation
Thanks to Tropical Storm Fay you will not see too many beach pictures. After several days inside we did go and play putt putt. It was nice to have so much time to spend with family, hope you like the pictures.
The Log House Lodge
This is a picture of our room. We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before, and we loved this one. The food and fellowship was wonderful. It was nice to know after a day of hiking and rafting that someone was waiting up for you to make sure you had everything you needed and let you know what time breakfast would be ready.
Sequoia National Park
While we were walking in this beautiful brook two deer came running out of the woods straight towards me. I grabbed the camera and took there picture and then realized they did not see me and were still heading straight for me. I was about to start running from two deer when they turned away. It was crazy.

Here is the General Sherman Tree it is the oldest living thing on the planet. It is over two thousand years old.

Not only was Sequoia beautiful, but there was a lot of history lessons there. The place in pictures here that says Hospital Rock is actually where the Indians that lived there used for medical treatment and you can see the markings on the rocks still today.

In July Ricky and I were given a weekend away at a bed and breakfast Called The Log House Lodge. It was so nice to get away for a few nights together. I think it was the first time we have left the girls overnight not with family. The Bauer's (who may as well be family) kept the girls for us. We went hiking and white water rafting, and had a blast. When we got back Bailee cried because she did not want to come home. Here are a few pictures of the trip.
Grandma Joy's Summer Visit
Here are some pictures of our trip to Santa Barbara, we had a great time and sure do miss grandma after she leaves.
Grandma Joy's Summer Vist
Every Summer Grandma Joy spends two weeks with us. This summer we took her to Santa Barbara for a day and it was a lot of fun. We played on the beach and rode the carousel across the street in the park. We really enjoyed ourselves and hope to take Daddy there real soon.
