Lake Hills Ladies Retreat

This trip was back in October and was such a great time of getting to know the ladies in our church. I am usually busy with my girls and so time to just sit and get to know new ladies is pretty limited. We had a sweet time of sharing our testimonies with each other on the three hour drive up and a wonderful time around the table during meals. Getting stranded on the lake in a canoe, and paddling backwards against the current all the way to shore was quit a task. But now when I see the picture where we look like we know what we are doing I just laugh. Thank you Lord for allowing a way for me to go, and Ricky for being the super dad that you are all weekend.

The Master's Kids field trip to Union Station

We took the Metro which is about a mile from our house into downtown LA and met the whole class at Union Station. While there we walked down Olvera street which was alot like being in Mexico. We had chips and salsa in one of LA's oldest Mexican restuarants and Bailee shared a churo with a friend. Bailee also got a new pair of handmade sandals, here you will see the lady putting them on her. She wanted to wear them right away. This was a fun trip and I am thankful to have this time to share with her.

Trip to the Mall with MiMi and Pa

No visit from MiMi is complete without a trip to the mall. Not sure if we bought anything but Pa wanted to ride the Merry Go Round so Bailee and Annika agreed to ride along.

Fun Trip to the American Girl Doll Store

This was so much fun the girls loved looking at all the dolls and especially playing with the doll furniture. They each got to pick a baby and a new outfit, and then we took a ride on the trolley. Thanks MiMi and Pa!

Celebrating Bailee's 5th Birthday Bowling
