Out of the Mouth of Annika Joy

Yesterday Julia was crying and Annika asked me why she was crying? I told her that I was not sure, and Annika said "maybe she wants her bottle." I then said no, she has already eaten. She looked at me and said "Well then she just wants some frankincence." Annika is the one in the family that is always saying something silly! She has a funny name for just about everything. She calls her forehead, her headboard. Bailee and I just laugh, and I think it is so cute that I have not told her any different.

On July 29th Julia arrived and joined the family. She weighed 7lbs and 4.8ozs, and was 20.5 inches long. She is such a sweet baby and her big sisters love her so much. Bailee wants to do everything for her, and sometimes I think she thinks she is her mom. Annika is so proud of her whenever anyone see's her for the first time she tells them her full name and with the biggest smile says, don't you think she's cute?

No More Training Wheels for Bailee

Last week we took the girls to an open park and brought the bikes along. Ricky took Bailee's training wheels off and worked with her for a while. Before we left she was riding, and so proud of her accomplishment. Since then she has gotten more confident and is able to turn around. This was one of our summer highlights!
