Bailee Bailee Bailee

Tonight while waiting in line at the store I looked over and saw Bailee licking her hand and wiping it on her face. I had no idea what she was doing when I noticed the lady in front of us watching her too, just as puzzled as I was. Then before anyone could say anything she said "now I'm clean, finished with my bath." She then went on to explain she was giving her self a bath just like a cat. At that point the woman in line was not sure what to think and it was pretty awkward I must say. I then thought it was a good time to explain we had recently had a conversation about why we do not let cats lick us. I had explained to Bailee that cats lick there bodies in order to clean themselves, and that they clean everything on there body so we do not let them lick us. I guess Bailee thought if it works for them, why not us? We have now addressed that, but if you ever see Bailee giving her self a bath at least you will understand. I guess worst things have happened, but if she starts purring we've got a problem.
