Bailee's First Day of Masters Kids

Bailee started her first day of preschool this week. She was so excited, and loved every minute of it. It is a one day a week, mommy and me preschool meaning that I do everything with her except for playground time. Each mom in the class of 32 kids has a job, one might lead music, or craft time, or snack time, etc. I am the welcome coordinator which means I set up the table that the children come to sign in, check off homework, learn their weekly Bible verse. Bailee has already completed her homework packet and learned one of her songs and it has only been two days. This is going to be a wonderful time for her, and I am so glad to get the individual time with her that Masters Kids encourages. Hope you enjoy the pictures of her special day.

Bailee Swimming

Annika at the Aquatic Center

While waiting for Bailee and Daddy to finish diving Annika decided she was going to gather some rocks to play with. I caught her getting ready to toss them into the pool. Although Annika is not swimming yet she does enjoy the water and she is learning to hold her breath and go under. Here are a few pictures of Annika having fun with whatever she can find.

Bailee jumps off the High Dive

Bailee has learned to swim this summer and there is no turning back. She recently took the swim test at the aquatic center and swam the length of the dive pool. She was so proud of her green bracelet she was given when she passed. Bailee being the adventurous girl that she is decided to jump off the high dive three times. Here are a few pictures and a video of our fun times at the aquatic center.

Braves vs. Dodgers

A few weeks ago Ricky surprised us with tickets to a Braves game. We had such a great time and the girls did really well. The Braves won which was cool, but the highlight for me was watching Ricky and Bailee eating peanuts together. During the game this man with a raspy voice came by selling frozen lemonade and Annika started mocking him. He did not hear her of course, but when he would yell "Frozen Lemonade" she would too, it was so funny. Bailee caught the beach ball that was being tossed around during the game, but it had lost most of it's air. Ricky would not blow it back up for her so she decided to use it for a hat. We had a blast and will definitely be going back. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Fun Family Day Trip

Recently we took the girls on a trip to Burbank for lunch. We rode the Metro train to Burbank and ate lunch, played at the mall, stopped in a book store, and came home. It was a fun time and the girls loved riding the train. We let Bailee choose our seats and after about ten minutes I noticed that the men seated around us were all wearing sweatsuits in August. After looking closer they all had on matching slip-on tennis shoes like the ones you see prisoners wearing in movies. Turns out we were surrounded by parolees, which made things a little odd. Here we were in the middle of the parolee train with two little girls and one would not stop talking to them (guess who). We always seem to find ourselves in these type of crazy situations. It was a great time, and hope to do it again sometime.

Ready For The Pool

A sweet friend recently gave the girls new swimsuits with matching towels and glasses. This was such a fun surprise and they have really enjoyed them.
